A Human Approach

End the Fight

Do we live on a battleground?  I see and hear the word “fight” often and regularly.

Fight against cancer. Fight to win an election seat.  Fight for freedom.  Fight for business.  Fight for rights. Fight to be heard.  Fight for peace.

Fight for peace? Part of the definition of the word fight is, “…to contend for by, or as if, in combat”. Does what we aspire to, or long for, always need to be a struggle or contest?

Aha! ~ “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the old model obsolete.” ~ Buckminster Fuller

Competition suggests there is a winner and a loser.  The “new model” is where we all win.

When you move from a competitive mindset to a creative state, you recognize the disservice elements of the current form and function, and construct something that performs at a higher level for all.  There are no competitors in the creative space.

Change comes when you feel the struggle or challenge and your inner pot is stirred with desire for something better.  Even if that desire for change is something inside yourself, acknowledge the stir then concentrate your energy on the new….and allow the old to naturally just slip away.

This is a new world. Arm yourself differently.
